2008/09 Big Bucks of the Year

                                       TAYLOR BEDDINGFIELD                          DAVID HARE

135 inch 11 pointer                            200 lb 10 point crab claw

Taylor Beddingfield from Birmingham became our club's first two time recipient of the "Big Bick of the Year" honors.  He also took the club's big buck in 2005/06 when he was only 20 years old.  Taylor killed this great buck in cut over from a natural ground blind.  Taylor is a pure trophy hunter that proves hard work and patience pays off.  The blind can be seen in the far right corner of the photo.  "Pretty Cool"

David Hare of Adamsville shared the club's "Big Buck of the Year" award by taking this awesome buck.  David in his first season with the club also claimed our hunter of the year.  In addition to this buck, David took a couple of does, a wide racked 8 pointer and a 9 point trophy with double main beams on one side, a split brow on the other and coke can bases.  Wow David, what a year!

Southern Pines Hunting Club was established in 1993.  We are a non-profit, member owned and operated Alabama Hunting Club.  Our 1800 acre lease is near the center of more than 10,000 acres being managed for quality and trophy whitetail deer.   We have an outstanding buck to doe ratio with a large population of bucks over 3 1/2 years old.  Our plots and off season feeding program offers high protein food for maximum body and antler growth.

We have now reached most of the goals set 16 years ago.  We have a member owned club house with skinning shed and storage buildings. The camp house property also has RV sites with electricity, city water and cable TV provided to members. The camp house is safe and comfortable with most of the conveniences of home. Recently we added a 105 hp Ford tractor and the equipment to maintain more than 27 plots.  A goal we will continue to strive for is to have the best club possible and to do that you have to have the best people. We try to keep our annual dues and membership number as low as we can.  The membership number is capped at 18 and the annual dues is $1300.   If we sound like the kind of club you would be interested in, drop us a note. We love to hear from good people that share our love of hunting. Please open the link below if you are interested in more information on Southern Pines Hunting Club.  We would also like to hear from you if you have suggestions to improve our club.
